12-19-21 The LifeSaver

An angel told Joseph, "You shall bring forth a son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He shall save His people from their sins." Jesus is the Lifesaver - and there are some similarities between Him and that other lifesaver - the candy.

When a pitcher can't throw the ball over home plate consistently, we don't wide the plate. We don't lower the standard because of his inability to hit it. He has to adjust. Likewise, God's Word is our standard for living life. We don't change it. It changes us.
