12-5-21 Give God Glory

"Give to the Lord the glory due His name." This verse in I Chronicles 16:29, along with many others, lets us know we are to give God glory. Followers of Jesus would agree with this, but how does it play out? What does it look like? Some thoughts.

When a pitcher can't throw the ball over home plate consistently, we don't wide the plate. We don't lower the standard because of his inability to hit it. He has to adjust. Likewise, God's Word is our standard for living life. We don't change it. It changes us.
