3-17-19 Divine Strategy

The Holy Spirit can give us a divine strategy that gives an advantage over the enemy. We see this in several places in Scripture. This message looks at the example of Gideon. A few different things took place in the service, so after the main message, there are three added segments.

3-10-19 Pulling Down Strongholds

If we don't take our thoughts captive, our thoughts have the potential to take us captive. When we allow wrong thinking and unbiblical ideas to remain and have place in our mind, they can result in strongholds that can greatly affect our lives in a negative way. 

 

3-3-19 Raise a Hallelujah

There is an unseen battle that takes place in an unseen world. It's a spiritual battle, not one of flesh and blood, and a spiritual battle requires spiritual weapons. These weapons are available to us, but we must become acquainted with them as a soldier would be with his rifle. We are told in 2 For.10:4 that our weapons are mighty!

2-24-19 Whatever It Takes

Some things require little effort, whereas others require great effort. Then, there are those things of such value that you do whatever it takes. It's that attitude that goes the second mile - and then some. This is the attitude that has the greatest potential to affect lives for good and for God.

2-17-19 Seduced Through the Ears

Proverbs 7 tells the story of a young man who makes a grave mistake. Some today might see this as a love story, but I would disagree. Love is mentioned, but it's not something that has the approval of God. I'm hearing a lot lately that "love wins." I don't necessarily disagree with this, but then again, it seems to need some clarification. What does it actually mean? And how do you define love? Surely, this matters.

2-10-19 Your Enemy

We have an enemy, and his goal is to steal, kill and destroy. Surely, we should not live in fear over this, but neither should we walk carelessly and underestimate him.

Abortion is more than a political topic. It is a moral issue as well, and the Bible doesn't ignore it. Surely, God is pro-life. But along with loving the unborn, God loves the born - even after they've made bad choices and mistakes. God desires for you to be free from the prison of guilt and condemnation, and to move forward into the rest of your story.

Hope is absolutely necessary for survival, and we can help bring it to those who may be in seemingly hopeless situations.

What does 2019 hold? Political unrest - check. Sexual immorality - check. But it's the third one that concerns me most.
