Proverbs 7 tells the story of a young man who makes a grave mistake. Some today might see this as a love story, but I would disagree. Love is mentioned, but it's not something that has the approval of God. I'm hearing a lot lately that "love wins." I don't necessarily disagree with this, but then again, it seems to need some clarification. What does it actually mean? And how do you define love? Surely, this matters.

We have an enemy, and his goal is to steal, kill and destroy. Surely, we should not live in fear over this, but neither should we walk carelessly and underestimate him.

According to Romans 12, transformation comes through the renewing of the mind. This takes place as we spend time in God's Word, learning to think as He thinks, and then agreeing with what He says about things. Transformation requires effort. Conformity, on the other hand, just happens.
