In Acts 2, Peter preaches Jesus, and 3,000 believe. In Acts 17, Paul preaches Jesus, and some believe. Same message, but different results. Was Peter just a better preacher than Paul? More gifted? I don't think so. It wasn't just two different preachers. It was also two different audiences. Key factor.

Because of the cultural shift in America, moral relativism continues to gain national acceptance. While the message of the gospel hasn't changed, the way people think has changed dramatically. We can't ignore this as it affects how we connect with the younger generations.

The Democrats have their platform, and the Republicans have theirs. The two are about as opposed as they can be. At one time, there was a lot more agreement between the two parties. Not anymore. We need to move back to the platform on which our nation was founded.
