In Acts 2, Peter preaches Jesus, and 3,000 believe. In Acts 17, Paul preaches Jesus, and some believe. Same message, but different results. Was Peter just a better preacher than Paul? More gifted? I don't think so. It wasn't just two different preachers. It was also two different audiences. Key factor.

Because of the cultural shift in America, moral relativism continues to gain national acceptance. While the message of the gospel hasn't changed, the way people think has changed dramatically. We can't ignore this as it affects how we connect with the younger generations.

The Democrats have their platform, and the Republicans have theirs. The two are about as opposed as they can be. At one time, there was a lot more agreement between the two parties. Not anymore. We need to move back to the platform on which our nation was founded.

Maybe you've looked at all the options and can't see a way out. It may be that there's another option that hasn't been considered - the miracle option. Nothing wrong with looking at what's possible, but trusting God to do the impossible is sometimes our only option.

I'd much rather go on a slow scenic drive than get caught up in rush hour. Heavy traffic can be frustrating for sure. Heavy traffic in the spirit can do the same. We must take the advice given in Psalm 46:10 and learn to 'be still'.

What triggers revival? Is it simply a sovereign move of God, or is there something we can do to help it along? Does God initiate, or does He respond to something we do? I think the answer is 'yes'.

Most would agree that revival is a good thing, but not everyone is in agreement as to what revival looks like. Revival starts in the heart, whether it be the heart of an individual or the heart of a nation. It's God's breath restoring to life that which is dying or dead!
