It's important as to what we think and believe about God. It's also important as to what we think and believe about ourselves. Once we are "in Christ," we need to see ourselves the way that God sees us. It's not about how we feel. It's all about what God says.

3-4-18 Our Identity in Christ

Who are you? The answer you get might depend on who you ask. The most important voice on this matter is God's voice. God has a say as to who you are, and it's important that we agree with Him. After all, His voice is the voice of truth and the one that matters most.

2-25-18 In Him We Be

Our enemy specializes in identity theft as he wants us to question the things that God has said over us and about us. We must come into agreement with what God has declared over us. Being "in Christ" changes everything!

While the devil is our ultimate enemy, there are many other enemies out there that rob us of the abundant life that Jesus wants to give us. We need to identify those things that are keeping us from moving forward, and we need to confront them in Jesus name!

1-21-18 Bless the Lord!

God blesses His children, but He also encourages His children to bless Him. When He blesses us, we are made better. Obviously, we can't make God better, so how is it that we can bless the Lord?

Psalm 34:8 says, "Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord." Saying 'I trust God' is easy, but to actually trust involves another word that's not very popular today - 'obey.' It's when we obey God that we prove our trust in God. And this is where we find God's blessing.

Church attendance doesn't seem to have the same value today as in yesteryears. There's a lot of other things competing for our time, and church often gets left out. Is church really necessary? How will it benefit me? How often should I go? Let's go to the story of Jacob's ladder and see what we can learn!
