God knows where you are. God knows how you feel. God knows what you need. These three statements have been made a few times in the last little while at our place, and now they have the backing of a sermon!

This message was triggered by a statement President Trump made last week. While I support our President and his leadership of our nation, he would not be qualified to teach a Bible class at our church. That's okay though, he's growing!

Jeremiah 29:11 speaks of God's plans to give us a hope and a future. How does this verse fit in the middle of great tragedy when it looks as if all hope is gone?

Hope is the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel. The tunnel is hard enough, but without the light it becomes hopeless. In this present life, lights often burn out, but there is a light that always shines. He is our God of hope.

There are three truths I believe we have to nail down for our faith to stay intact through hard times. When things are good, these truths are easy to declare, but when difficult and painful things happen, these truths are often challenged.

When the excitement is over and the crowd has left, who does the thing that nobody wants to do? Who's behind the scenes taking care of the necessary without recognition and without reward? This person is key!

Spiritual warfare is a reality - an unseen battle in an unseen realm, yet as real as the physical world we live in. As followers of Jesus, we need to be familiar with the spiritual weapons at our disposal.

Paul, near the end of his life, told young Timothy, "I have kept the faith." Not everyone does. In this message, I share five things that I believe were significant in helping me stay on course in this journey of faith.

The question was asked of me, "How long do I have to wait before it pays off for doing the right thing?" The situation involved strained relationships and was painful and frustrating. This message was generated from that question.

I am who the great I AM says I am! When it comes to our identity in Christ, it has already been determined. We don't have to figure it out. We just need to get in line with what God thinks and has declared over us.
