8-27-23 God Notices Everything

God sees all and knows all. This includes your stuff. You matter to God, and He is not unaware of what you face. He is not blind to your situation. He knows, and He cares - and He can help!

The story of the golden image and blazing furnace in the third chapter of Daniel is very encouraging to me, especially because of one particular verse. This verse gives me relief and hope. I hope it can do the same for you.

Why the pain and suffering - especially for people who do nothing to deserve it? Big question - with no good answer. When you're hurting, no answer really works. There is some insight to gain though and some wisdom to be had.

'Doing things that ought not to be done' - Paul used this phrase in Romans. We see a lot of it in our nation today. When we push God aside, the potential for more 'wrong' and less 'right' is the result. We need to get back to God's ways.

Romans, chapter one, tells of a people who didn't retain the knowledge of God. In other words, they forgot Him. It's important to remember the source of our blessings and favor. Forgetting God is the beginning of a long and hard journey.
