Pain and suffering came with man's fall in Genesis 3. Then, in Revelation 21, we see where pain and sorrow will be no more. We live in the middle of these two chapters. Pain and suffering are a part of this life here in this broken place.

'Doing things that ought not to be done' - Paul used this phrase in Romans. We see a lot of it in our nation today. When we push God aside, the potential for more 'wrong' and less 'right' is the result. We need to get back to God's ways.
